Showland ProductionsThe melodic finesse in your composition is commendable — it's not just notes; it's a narrative. The lyrics carry weight, weaving a story that's both introspective and relatable without leaning on clichés. The subtle transitions showcase a songwriting prowess that's more than surface-level; it's a craft. The pacing is akin to a well-timed heartbeat, each verse and chorus seamlessly blending into the next. There's a rhythmic cadence to your delivery that's infectious, and the way the instrumentation builds and recedes is a testament to your understanding of dynamics. The mellow tones create an atmosphere that feels like a comforting embrace, making it ideal for a poignant movie scene or a climactic TV moment.

Love this! It is authentically happy and celebrates the magic of women in a pure way that is missing from contemporary music. I love the references to vintage music, vocal and writing styles. Great project that could find its way into film and tv. Great job, Thanks for the submission. I will share it with my professional network.

Missy Kissy Baby Boo

Missy Kissy Baby Boo

Ray Rayski Pitts….Well this is just a fun song to listen too and watching the video just adds to that fun .. Found myself with a big Ol' smile by the time this song came to its end ... a real treat!

Mark Wheatly…. I really liked the vibe, loved the lyrics. A great fun song thanks for sharing. On the production front no issues. There is some Johhny Cash in there somewhere.

Rick Mide…..ya think? Okay I think. So, I love this. Starts off very Baby's good to me, ya know, she's happy as can be, ya know...and transitions into a classic Johnny Cash Fulsom Prison Blues but when the dart hit the board and the sound was there, it woke me up. Video is very cute, fun footage reminds me of John Cougar's Jack & Diane video. Good tune, lyrics. Loved it.

Quitting Day

Quitting Day

This song just makes me happy! I couldn't stop smiling while listening and watching this wonderful video. Great melody and lovely harmonies! So much fun. The lyrics are a hoot. This is an anthem!

Lyssa James…..Quitting Day, welcome to the group and my gosh what a great song you have here Philip. Lyrics, instrumental and vocals absolutely brilliant. This is such a fun song, you had me smiling all the way through, the video is fabulous, and I love how it ends. Thank you Philip and Suzette I thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s a wonderful song, Keep them coming. 👏👏

Fat Cat
Fat Cat

Lyssa James….Sounds something in between lovecats and stray Cat Strut, Nevertheless It’s brilliant, it’s crazy, extremely quirky and very entertaining. FatCat, it’s a wonderful song, the video had me smiling and laughing from the beginning to end. I loved every minute. 😻

John David Lawson....Your videos are a cut above the usual cutting together of free stock footage in that you act in them and synch them very closely to the music. Done with excellence. E,g, I loved the perfect comic timing of "train" and then the toot-toot! Envy the relationship of this couple so into each other and having fun! Curious about how you make the music. Guessing you play the guitars and and bass (otherwise why would you have one just sitting around?!), to a track you source or create. Any, it's great quality. The words "fat" and "cat" mark it as a novelty number because those syllables are hard to sing in sequence. And also signal that love and sexiness are not the exclusive domain of the young and lean. It works! Was highly entertained!! -JD

The Captain's daughter
The Captain's Daughter

Mari Quentin….Super story-telling song. My cousin plays mandolin in Dublin pubs in various traditional groups. I can just hear this song being a favorite around the Dublin scene. Also nice production. All instruments and vocals clear. Also a really catchy title.

Lyssa James…Great upbeat toe tapping music and as always lots of fun. The lyrics are clever, instrumental mix is fabulous, vocals are very nice, great harmony and I love the video. Captain’s Daughter, It certainly made me smile, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 👏👏

Bayview Girls

Bayview Girls

Rick Mide....Hey boys and girls. Simple formula really works well with the video that adds real enthusiasm to the tune. You just have to love it. The music is a simple rif but the flavor is real and you guys come off real genuine. It's a real act that's fun to follow. Chorus is great. So, what is an Idaho Bayview Girl? Do tell.

Frank Rendfordt.....Your songs and videos always make me smile 😊! Good to see how much fun you have together producing this kind of stuff! It’s so uplifting and carefree like a summer breeze. I don’t have any suggestions for improvements. I only would make it a somewhat shorter.
The simpler a song is, the shorter it should be. Stop before it gets boring, then maybe they'll watch/listen again.

A great fun track - you must have had a fantastic time putting this together! Nicely performed. That chorus is pretty hooky, well done - top job!

Ray Rayski Pitts
Philip Swing my goodness, what an absolutely delightful song and video. The lyrics, the folk instruments, the harmonies - just great. Goodness overflowing from every scene. Leaves me wondering though.... do these two lovebirds even make it to the picture show?!
